The Total Liability Calculator (TLC) Basic is an actuarial self-service tool that was developed especially for MERS Defined Benefit Plan customers. Join us for a two-part video series where MERS and GovInvest (now called TrueComp) staff will demonstrate how to bring your annual actuarial plan data to life through the tool.

In the 101 session, we’ll cover:

How to log in and navigate through TLC Basic
How to use the tool to review historical data from your AAVs to analyze your liabilities by division, review membership changes (active/deferred/retired) and track your plan’s funding level over time
