Next steps:
- MERS will email you a link to the Application, typically within an hour
- If you don’t see an email within 24 hours, please check your spam or junk email folder
- Fill out and mail the Application via the instructions on the form
MERS will confirm your eligibility to open an IRA. Within about a week, MERS will send you either:- A confirmation email with instructions for funding your new account; or
- An email notification that you are not eligible to open a MERS IRA
