Beginning the week of 10/7, Alerus sent required minimum distribution (RMD) letters to participants who fall into any of the categories below:

• Are required to take an RMD in 2024 and have not yet taken the distribution (letter includes the appropriate RMD form).

• Are required to take an RMD in 2024 and have satisfied that requirement.

• Are of RMD age but are coded as active in the system. This is to ensure they don’t miss any RMDs due to a missing termination date in the system.
