Description:

On 10/19, Alerus sent required minimum distribution (RMD) letters to participants who are have not yet satisfied their 2023 RMD.

Alerus also sent a letter to participants who are age 70.5 or older and are still coded in the Alerus system as actively employed. This letter is mailed to ensure participants don’t miss any RMDs in the event of a missing termination date in the system.
